Jacqueline Gufford
User Researcher
For the last six years I've honed my research skillset across academia, strategy consulting, and tech. Currently I'm a user researcher at The Knot Worldwide, where I help product teams create seamless and delightful experiences for couples joining The Knot to plan their wedding.
I've delivered impactful research at large, globally distributed companies and small, scrappy startups alike. I was on the founding team at Thoughtful, leading user research to build a groundbreaking app that addresses the loneliness epidemic.
Before Thoughtful, I helped cultural institutions thrive and evolve as a consultant at LaPlaca Cohen. Clients I worked with include the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, the Santa Fe Opera, Cranbrook Academy of Art, The Nelson-Atkins Museum, and Miami MoCAAD.
I earned a B.A. in Art History, with honors, from Princeton University, where I also completed courses in politics, statistics, economics, journalism, and psychology.
A polyglot, I speak several languages fluently and am capable of conducting research in Portuguese, Spanish, Hungarian, and Italian.
Outside of work you can find me volunteering with PAWS NY, playing with my rescue dog Watson, surfing, climbing, writing, or going to museums.
